Cassandra Meyer (cassmarie_b on Instagram), Is All About Long Drives
Alright, let me give it a shot!
Move over Bryson DeChambeau, Cassandra Meyer is the newest powerhouse in the world of Long Drive (sorry Bryson, I’m sure you can still bench press anyone in the STB office).
We stumbled upon Cassandra’s Instagram and obviously dove in for a solid scroll. It’s not too often we see a smoke show golfer who can hit the shit out of the ball. We get the attraction to Paige Spiranac, but most guys in the STB office are going for Cassandra 10/10 times.
Despite being relatively new to the scene, Cassandra is making waves and giving the reigning champ a run for her money. Apparently, golf isn’t the only sport she’s good at. Her athletic career started at the tender age of nine, and she’s been chasing her dreams ever since. In fact, in 2006, she helped the Junior Ryder Cup Team secure a win for the USA. Not too bad for someone who hadn’t even entered adulthood yet!
After realizing that the typical golf course wasn’t long enough to really let her unleash her drive, Cassandra turned to Long Drive. And boy, did she turn heads! With her petite but athletic build, she knew she needed to put in some extra work to keep up with the big hitters. But as soon as she got a taste of the adrenaline rush that came with hurtling a tiny ball hundreds of yards, she knew she had found her passion.
Now, she’s a force to be reckoned with on the Long Drive circuit, scorching balls down the fairway and leaving her competition in the dust. I mean, I doubt she named her dog Dakota after the state… I’m pretty sure it’s a nod to how far she can send a golf ball.
When Cassandra’s not crushing it on the links, she’s working on getting her Certified Personal Trainer license and whipping up some healthy eats in the kitchen. And with a hubby who trains a couple of World Long Drive Champions, she’s got some pretty solid support.
Watch out, world. Cassandra Meyer is here to bring the heat and the speed. And maybe some healthy snacks for the post-round snack bar.
